Bihar: In the Karpi police station area of Arwal district, criminals beat an egg shopkeeper to death late in the evening in Kohdaul village. There is chaos among the family members after the incident.

According to the information received, 61-year-old Ayodhya Singh, a resident of Kohdaul village, used to sell eggs at a kiosk in his village. Like every day, some youths of the village came to buy eggs and asked for money on credit. When the shopkeeper refused, he was beaten badly, which led to his death. The deceased’s son Vimlesh Kumar told that Prince Kumar, Sunny Kumar of the village, along with their friends, beat his father badly with sticks for not paying the eggs on credit.
After the incident, he was admitted to Arwal Sadar Hospital for treatment, where he died during treatment. On receiving the information, the police of Karpi police station reached the spot and after taking information about the incident from the family members, took the body in custody from Sadar Hospital and sent it for post-mortem.
